Hi! I’m Lindsay, I launched From Seaver to Seattle in January 2026, but I started having strong opinions about baseball long before then. By day, I’m a graduate student in the northeastern U.S., and by night, I’m usually pretty tired. Beyond baseball, the serious things that preoccupy my time are linguistics, computer programming, and volunteer work, in no particular order.

I was born and raised in North Carolina as a Mets fan, which I remain to this day, and became a Mariners fan by choice in early adulthood. I’m a SABR member and broadly interested in sabermetrics and historical baseball research, so I always welcome questions and discussions related to that! I’m also a fan of video games, 70s rock, cats, and renowned Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen.
